1.REQUIREMENTS

    2.CHARACTERISTICS

    1. The dryer is designed as tower-type mixing-flow grain dryer.
    2. Rice will stay in the tower for about 6 hours, and moisture evaporated slowly to protect the quality of rice.
    3. There are 2 drying stages, between which there is a tempering stage. It is used to reduce the moisture difference between the inside and outside of rice layers.
    4. Equipped with 6 sets of discharge blades, the dryer can ensure the even flow of rice, and even evaporation of moisture.

    3.DESIGN PARAMETERS

    1. Model: SNH15 mixing flow grain dryer.
    2. Continuous flow working method, outdoor installation.
    3. The dryer is suitable for the severe weather conditions in the north-east of China, ambient temperature -25ºC-+35ºC.
    4. Moisture dried 6%.
    5. Suitable for various grains and weather conditions.
    6. The tower consists of storage, drying, tempering and cooling stages, discharger and foundation.
    7. In the storage section, rice are fed, stored and discharged to the next stage. There are 2 grain level meters in both the lower and upper parts. When the rice level is higher than the upper level meter, it will alarm and stop feeding. The rice will be kept in storage area for 1 hour. If the rice quantity is less than the lower level, it will stop discharging. In this case, rice can stop short circuit of heat agent.
    8. The drying section is distributed with angular ventilation boxes. Rice drops from the above, while hot air goes up against the rice and down. Hot air transfers the heat energy to rice, mixed with evaporated moisture, and discharged from the exhaust side. After long time of drying, rice will be dried to the required moisture level.
    9. After the first drying section, there is tempering section. In this area, rice will stay without hot air, so the moisture can be evaporated evenly and protect the quality of rice.
    10. Rice will be kept in the tower for 5-7 hours.
    11. In the cooling section, rice will be cooled down for 1 hour, which will reduce the risk for storage.
    12. The discharge section includes 6 sets of blades, which can discharge the dried material evenly. The blades are driven by speed regulator, easy for adjustment. Discharge quantity can be adjusted in the range of 70%-200% of the designed capacity.
    13. Outer dimension 3×3.5×20.13m.
    14. The dryer has emergency discharge outlet, ensuring the grains can be discharge quickly for any emergency conditions.
    15. Inside the dryer, the parts that contact with rice and moisture are made with galvanized steel, ventilation box 1.2mm thick and liner 2.75mm thick.
    16. The outside is decorated with 0.5mm color steel plate, with insulation thickness 50mm.
    17. The maintenance may be carried out after 3 drying periods.
